No. MedCode Pro has a Zero-PHI architecture. It cannot read your EHR screens, clipboard, or any web page content. It only sends the medical codes you type to free government APIs.
All data comes from free, public U.S. Government APIs: NLM Clinical Tables (NIH), CMS Physician Fee Schedule, NPPES NPI Registry, and RxNorm (NIH).
MedCode Pro collects zero user data and never touches PHI, so most organizations won't require IT approval. However, check with your organization's policies on browser extensions.
Right-click the MedCode Pro icon in Chrome's toolbar and select "Remove from Chrome." All locally cached data is automatically deleted.
